ATMS
Our ATMS business has heritage in the development, manufacture, sustainment and support of secondary surveillance radar technology. Our technology is relied upon to manage more than two‑thirds of the world’s air traffic due to its precision and ability to detect aircraft even within the most crowded airspace.
Role & Responsibilities
The role will support the System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Team Leaders in developing and managing project requirements, generating technical documentation, conducting systems analysis and design, and participating in technical design reviews. You will also support the Systems Team in creating bid proposal material and submitting bids in response to customer requirements.
Required Experience
* Proven minimum of 3 years in System Engineering
* Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle from requirements through to certification
* Experience with generation of technical documentation (internal and for customers)
* Understanding of policies, practices and procedures, and the ability to communicate these to the team
* Ability to work autonomously, with limited oversight from Team Leaders and Management
* Ability to work within agreed timescales
* Ability to work in a team and perform under pressure
* Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or similar
Desirable Experience
* Knowledge of Air Traffic Management or Radar systems would be beneficial
* Experience with Air Traffic Management or Radar systems would be beneficial
* Experience with the IBM Rational DOORS toolset
* Experience with SysML or UML in a Systems Engineering environment
* Experience with configuration management systems
* Membership/Chartership with INCOSE (or similar professional body)
