Job Description
Publicis Media is actively seeking a UK Planning Manager to work across the Disney Studios UK business, one of Publicis Groupe’s largest assignments. This is an exciting opportunity to primarily work across the Disney Theatrical slate, executing the most distinctive, efficient and impactful paid media campaigns for one of the globe's most iconic entertainment brands.
Reporting into the Planning Director, you will work across the media output for all six of Disney's Studios (Animation, Live Action, 20th Century Studios, Marvel, Pixar, Lucas and Searchlight) encompassing the three modes of distribution - Theatrical, Electronic Home Video, and Disney+ Studios. This broad scope allows for growth and development in all facets of film and content marketing.
1. Support the UK Associate & Planning Directors, with the day-to-day smooth running of Disney UK business
2. Have an active role in strategic planning alongside the Planning Associate Director; assisting and often leading responses from briefing to execution
3. Support Planning Associate Director in ensuring strategic direction is followed through from client brief to activation ideas and execution
4. Support Planning Associate Director inputting all media plans into Publicis Imagine planning and reporting tools
5. Overseeing Planning Executive and supervising delivery of regular reports and documents to support smooth running of the campaigns
6. Supervision of Planning Executive in all financial and administrative reporting workstreams
7. Support Planning Associate Director in driving best-practice thinking, innovation and proactively propose new opportunities
8. Ensure excellent relationships with other Publicis Imagine teams such as Investment, etc.
9. Forge strong relationships with key media owners keeping fully up to speed with market trends and developments
10. Be an excellent storyteller; shape strong responses and confidently present to key Disney stakeholders
11. Be an active participant in helping build the Publicis Imagine team and culture, contribute back to the agency via broader Publicis Media participation – present in planners meetings, sharing knowledge, etc
Qualifications
12. Strong media planning skills required
13. Excellent 360 communication skills; a clear communicator who can build strong internal and external relationships
14. Critical thinker; someone who is not afraid to challenge assumptions
15. Excellent storyteller; shape strong data driven responses
16. Confident presenter; be able to clearly and concisely present responses to key Disney stakeholders
17. Strong Excel and PPT skills required
18. Effective line manager who has the ability to nurture and develop a Planning Exec
