Job Opportunity: Team Leader in Tayside Health Visiting Service
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Tayside Health Visiting Service for an experienced Specialist Community Public Health Nurse - Health Visiting or equivalent qualification to apply for the post of Team Leader.
The successful candidate will provide leadership, support, and guidance to Health Visitors and Early Years workers within the Service to deliver the National Health Visiting Universal Pathway, aiming to improve outcomes for children and families. You will work closely with the Senior Nurse to evidence and meet both local and national priorities.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
1. Comprehensive knowledge of GIRFEC, the Children & Families (Scotland) Act 2014, and the responsibilities of the Named Person function.
2. Experience working with vulnerable children and families, with evidence of recent postgraduate study or willingness to undertake relevant study.
3. Registration on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
4. Hold a Special Health Visiting or Public Health qualification.
