Our leading Financial Services Sector Client is undergoing a time of significant growth and transformation as they integrate a recent corporate acquisition. To support these endeavours, they are seeking to hire a Communications Specialist.
This role covers a large variety of areas within the Communications team, with a particular focus on the creation and delivery of internal and external communications and content. You will generate ideas, write content including corporate news releases, placed articles, staff communications, customer-facing communications and digital advertising content.
Working closely with the Communications Lead, the Communications Specialist will:
* Write and produce online and offline external content
* Develop and maintain a content calendar for both internal and external communications
* Alongside the Communications Lead, support Executive Team communications including internal blogs and colleague messaging
* Responsibility for preparing and submitting awards applications
* Edit the staff newsletter
* Alongside the Communications Lead, point of contact to deal with external media inquiries
* Develop and maintain relationships with key industry and local journalists
The ideal candidate for the role of Communications Specialist will have:
* A minimum 2 years' experience in a communications-related role
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
* Hold a full driving licence
