Job Description
What will you be doing?
We are seeking a commercially strong Business Development Director, who will be responsible for the management of strategic and operational sales and business development activities in respect of the Real Estate Sector.
As a Business Development Director, your responsibilities will include, among others
* Originate new business opportunities with prospective clients in the Real Estate Sector
* Maintain a target list of prospective clients in the Real Estate Sector
* Attend Real Estate Sector business events to build network
* Identify and establish strategic alliance partners across the Real Estate Sector and opportunities for joint initiatives
* Assess market trends, with a view to developing new services, products, distributions channels across the Real Estate Sector
* Manage win/loss reviews for the Real Estate Sector
* Drive commercial behaviour and activity Real Estate Sector partners and management teams
* Drive progress on sector strategy
Qualifications
Skills and Experience – To be successful in this role, you should have
* Relevant business development experience selling professional services to the Real Estate Sector
* Ability to identify opportunities and drive these to revenue, meeting pre-agreed sales targets
* Expert understanding of targeting and opportunity management in the Real Estate Sector with the ability to implement both strategic and tactical initiatives
* Client-facing with strong relationship skills and track record of meeting sales targets
* The ability to form networks with prospects, partners and staff at all levels
* The ability to communicate and influence at senior levels
* Commercially astute and delivers BD activities with impact and purpose
