Ad Hoc Supply Teachers – Durham Secondary Schools
£140 to £160 per day depending on experience and qualifications, paid to scale from day one for long term positions.
Teaching Personnel is working with numerous mainstream secondary schools across Durham, and we're recruiting Ad Hoc Supply Teachers for general cover and long term positions.
Whether you're an Early Career Teacher, or an experienced FQT looking to network in several new schools as a supply teacher, we can provide you with regular daily work. Looking for 2 or 5 days flexible work a week? We'd like to hear from you.
Working on a supply basis will require you to ideally have your own form of transport as sometimes we may call you on the morning of work at short notice. We also have several pre planned absences where we'll provide you with advanced notice of work allowing plenty of time to prepare for the day ahead.
What you'll be doing:
Preparing the classroom ready for a lesson
Delivering the pre set work
Ensuring the class stays on task
Assisting any children who may require extra support
Clearing away at the end of a lesson
Previous experience in education and QTS is essential, however we accept applications for different positions from any staff looking to start a career in a school setting. Qualified teachers who are only available part time are extremely desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
