Description:
Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Credit Controller to work for a large manufacturing organisation based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
Role: Credit Controller
Salary: £28,000 Per Annum
Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire
Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30 - 17:30
Key Responsibilities of the Credit Controller:
1. Manage Accounts Receivable
2. Manage incoming payments.
3. Credit Control management including blocked orders.
4. Manage debt recovery of creditors.
5. Managing credit limits and Credit Insurance
6. A/R Reconciliation including of intercompany accounts (Quarterly IC service Invoice)
7. Assist in audit / year-end financial closure.
8. Participate in possible projects.
9. Ad hoc & other such duties as required.
Main Objectives:
10. Manage and oversee Credit Control
11. Oversee Credit Insurance
12. Manage and oversee Accounts Receivable incl. new accounts set up.
13. Manage incoming payments.
14. Provide support at month end as required.
About you:
15. High level of numeracy skills and a high attention to detail
16. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
17. Enjoys working towards deadlines.
18. Computer literate with good MS office skills
19. SAP experience desirable
20. Understanding of UK accounting principles including VAT
Interpersonal Skills:
21. Ability to build rapport with stakeholders
22. Excellent in written & oral communication
Experience:
23. Previous experience within a Credit Control role.
