Learning Support Assistant (Full-Time / Part-Time Opportunities) Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Permanent (fixed term considered on request) Location: School-based (on-site role) Working Pattern: Term time only (39 weeks per year, including non-pupil days) Hours: Full-time and part-time roles available (exact hours to be agreed with successful candidates) Salary: Scale 4 Point 8 (£26,824 FTE, pro rata for part-time positions; approx. £19,422 for 31.25 hours per week including holiday pay element) About the Role We are looking to appoint a number of committed, enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive team. These roles are available as the school expands and student numbers increase. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) access learning, participate fully in school life, and achieve their potential. You will work closely with teaching staff, the SEN team, and other support staff to ensure that pupils receive high-quality, inclusive support tailored to their individual needs. You may support pupils in whole-class settings, small group interventions, or on a one-to-one basis depending on need.
