Job Description
Venn Group is seeking a proficient Planning and Highways Lawyer to join a respected Council on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional to contribute their expertise to significant projects in the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing expert legal advice on planning, large-scale development, and highways matters.
* Drafting, negotiating, and advising on legal agreements, including s.106 and s.278 agreements.
* Collaborating with council officers to support planning and highways projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
Start Date: January 2024
Duration: Initial 3-month contract, with a strong potential for extension.
Working Arrangements: Part Time, 20-25 hours a week. Fully remote working available.
