Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: * Join Our Team as a Support Worker in Carlisle! * Location: Carlisle Hours Available: 37.5 per week (permanent) Are you caring and patient? About the Role We’re recruiting a Support Worker for our Carlisle service, where we help 9 amazing adults with learning disabilities live as independently as possible. What will you do? Support individuals to enjoy their daily lives Join them on trips to local cafés, the swimming pool, the pub and lots of other places! Help them take part in their favourite activities Encourage independence and confidence every day Shift Patterns 7:30am – 3pm 9am - 3pm 3pm – 10pm 2pm – 8pm 9:30pm – 7:30am (waking night) - we can offer a permanent waking night role if this is your preference Please note: We require staff to be flexible to work a variety of different shifts on different days (including some waking nights) and are unable to offer a fixed working pattern at this time. Some weekend work is a requirement of the role as this is shared among the team to ensure fairness for everyone.
