The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative and supervisory support to enable the effective delivery of medical education services across Swansea bay. This includes coordinating meetings, supporting managers, maintaining accurate records, and line managing administrative staff within the Medical Education team. The role is key to ensuring the smooth running of postgraduate and undergraduate medical education operations.
Main duties of the job
1. Coordinate meetings, events, and conferences, including preparing agendas, minutes, and managing diaries.
2. The post holder will work as a member of the Education Centre Team, ensuring the smooth running of the Education Centre, Morriston Hospital.
3. Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth service operations.
4. Supervise and support administrative staff, including performance and leave management.
5. Maintain accurate records, manage data entry, and ensure compliance with information governance.
6. Liaise effectively with staff, managers, and external partners, handling confidential information appropriately.
7. Support budget monitoring, process expenses, and oversee stationery and stock.
8. Assist with audits, service improvement initiatives, and the development of new administrative systems and processes.

9. Diploma level qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience
10. Knowledge of information governance protocol and importance of confidentiality.
11. Awareness of policies and procedures relating to dealing with confidential data, both personal and organisational.
