Primary Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective primary level tutoring sessions
* Assess students' learning needs and create individualised learning plans
* Provide academic support in subjects such as Maths, English, Science, and others
* Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
* Communicate with parents/guardians to provide feedback on student performance
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience working with primary school students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to motivate and engage young learners
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
* Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education
* Experience in conducting assessments and tracking student progress
* Experience working with students with special educational needs
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours, flexible schedule
* Work closely with students in a one-on-one or small group setting
* Occasional travel to student homes or educational institutions
* Adherence to safeguarding and child protection policies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
