The role supports business development during a period of significant growth, involves extensive field work across the UK, and requires frequent travel away from home.

* 17th / 18th Edition Certification
* Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card
* National Grid Person - Substation
* National Grid Competent Person - Substation
* EUSR Safety Health and Environmental Awareness - Gas
* Safe Control of Operations 1 & 2 (SCO 1 & 2) - Gas
* Safe Control of Operations 91 (SCO 91) – Gas
* Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
* Basic IT literacy
* Observational skills for health, safety and quality issues
* Ability to recognise, manage and shift priorities in a high‑pressure environment
* Fixed‑is safe‑first attitude and professional approach
* Flexibility during periods of change
* Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management, clients and other departments
