Following the recent announcement from the current Operations Director who will sadly be leaving the CTA (the Coach Tourism Council) at the end of the year, we are recruiting an Operations Director who will be responsible for a number of areas including the Operations of all events, Communications, acting as Secretariat for The Board, Finance, IT systems, overseeing a part time administrator and being the point of contact for membership enquiries.
As Operations Director, this is a part time role approx. 3 days a week but due to the nature of the Events Calendar, we will need some flexibility to manage the peaks and troughs of the work load. Preferred candidates will have an understanding of the workings of the CTA and had experience of working with a Board. Candidates must have a background in tourism and be aware of the diverse sectors of the industry. You must have experience of running events.
The role of Operations Director will start in September 2025 and the Association would prefer to employ an Operations Director on a self employed basis. Renumeration will be based on £ 60,000 per annum, pro rata.
