Overview
Delivery Consultant - Procurement, Finance & Commercial Management. Cedar are delighted to be supporting a reputable client in London with the recruitment of a Senior Procurement Officer to work within the Construction Category. The role is permanent and will require you to work in the office in London on a hybrid basis. The salary on offer is between 45-55K per annum.

Responsibilities
* Lead medium value and risk tenders through all stages of the process from initiation through to contract mobilisation.
* Manage multiple procurement projects at any given time.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels including senior managers and budget holders.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts including legal teams to develop the form of contract, special terms and conditions, KPI's and, where appropriate, incentive or payment strategies.
* Conduct thorough market research prior to developing a procurement strategy.
* Assess sustainability and social value to maximise beneficial impacts arising throughout the procurement.
* Prepare a tender evaluation report on completion of the tender exercise; support the mobilisation of the contract prior to handover.
* Attend project/review board meetings as required; ensure effective communication and engagement with stakeholders and partners (including external suppliers).
* CIPS level 4 or equivalent by experience.
* Experience of running end-to-end procurements across a range of routes to market.
* Extensive experience of working to PCR2015 OR PA23.
* Be able to travel into London and work on a hybrid basis.
* Experience in the construction category; NEC/JCT experience would be desirable.

* Experience of end-to-end procurements across multiple routes to market.
* Construction category experience; NEC/JCT familiarity is desirable.
