About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced data and insights professional to take ownership of a long-established statistics and business intelligence function following the retirement of a long-serving incumbent. This role offers a unique combination of operational responsibility, analytical leadership and transformation. Working closely with the outgoing postholder during a structured handover period, you will play a critical role in preserving organisational knowledge whilst helping modernise data collection, reporting and business intelligence processes.
Responsibilities
* Managing industry surveys and data collection programmes.
* Producing statistical reports and analytical insights.
* Developing a comprehensive operating manual covering all statistical and survey processes.
* Maintaining relationships with member organisations.
* Reviewing and improving legacy systems and reporting processes.
* Supporting the development of future business intelligence capability.
Qualifications
Experience in statistics, data analysis, business intelligence, market intelligence or research environments.
Required Skills
* Experience with survey management, reporting, stakeholder engagement and process improvement is essential.
* Knowledge of modern survey tools, Power BI is required.
* Experience with legacy database environments such as Microsoft Access would be particularly beneficial.

Pay range and compensation package
£45K-£55K
