A HR Generalist Advisor vacancy has arisen to join a large manufacturing company at their site based near Wigston, Leicester. This business are a global manufacturer, and supplier of a wide range of high-quality products for the aerospace and defence sectors, with sites across the world they are part of the biggest Aerospace manufacturing group in the world. With a site stretching over 200,000 sq feet, they have superb manufacturing facilities ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved. Part of the Midlands Aerospace Alliance, this company retains the reputation of a market leader within the industry by attention to detail and business excellence.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will support and advise the management team in all aspects of HR, including Employee Relations, Industrial Relations and Employment Law with a site of approximately 100 employees.
As the HR Generalist Advisor you will be -
Developing and implementing policies and procedures ensuring they comply with employment legislation
Managing and coordinating the recruitment process across two sites
Supporting with disciplinaries, grievances and any other associated employee related meetings
Assisting with the onboarding and induction process with all new starters
Providing guidance and support to employees on their terms of employment and benefits, keeping them up to date with policies and procedures
Supporting the HR Manager with implementation of workplace development and improvement projects
Maintaining all personnel files and any other associated administrative supportTo be successful in this role, you will have -
Previous HR experience working within a manufacturing or engineering company (essential)
A CIPD level 3 qualification minimum (preferable)
An understanding of employment law & legislation and GDPR
Experience using Workday, Kronos, ADP or SAP (preferable)
A full driving licence (as some adhoc travel between sites will be required)
Excellent communication, organisational and IT skillsOn offer for this HR Generalist Advisor role -
Office based working hours Monday - Friday 8am - 4:25pm
Starting salary of £34-38k
