Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer (East Anglia)

Responsibilities
* Fitting dual-fuel smart meters and showing customers how their meter and in-home display work, how it can help them save energy, and answering questions about the green energy revolution.
* Representing Octopus Energy brands in customers’ homes with a focus on safety and customer excellence.
* Delivering top-class service as part of the Octopus Energy Services team, supported by an office team and Octopus Energy’s technology stack to reduce admin time and maximize service delivery.
What you'll need
* MOCoPA – held within the last 3 years with evidence
* Gas Safe – CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent)
* Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points

Call-out, overtime and shifts
* Rotating call-out schedule once every five weeks (Monday to Sunday) with a £250 retainer; paid door to door when called out
* Saturday working: £50 for attending; £70 for a dual fuel installation; £35 for a single fuel installation; technical aborts paid at half rate

* If you pass our eligibility questions, you’ll be invited to our in-person recruitment event, Octopalooza, to demonstrate your skills.
* On the day, you’ll be welcomed by our team, complete a practical trade test, and have a short interview with an Area Manager to learn more about you and your motivation. You’ll also have the chance to ask questions about life as a Smart Meter Engineer with Octopus.
