Funeral Service Crew
£12.79 per hour plus benefits
Part-time, 20 hours per week, with varied shifts between 8am-8pm, Monday to Friday. You’ll also participate in an on-call rota covering weekdays (every 1 in 7 weeks) and weekends (every 1 in 14 weeks).

What you’ll do
1. Collect the deceased from various locations and scenarios professionally and empathetically.
2. Bear coffins and drive funeral vehicles.
3. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities, including vehicles.
4. Prepare coffins and engrave nameplates.
5. Prepare the deceased for viewings and funerals.

* A full UK manual driving license.
* A sensitive approach to customer service with good attention to detail.
* The ability to react calmly and compassionately in emotional circumstances.
* The ability to perform physical tasks (manual lifting).
