Description Information and Support Voices Volunteers Home-based volunteering opportunity for people aged 18 or older Do you have experience of terminal illness? Or have you experience of caring for someone at the end of their life? Why we need your help We’re looking for people from diverse backgrounds and with a range of experiences related to terminal illness, end of life and bereavement, to join our group of Information & Support Voices Team. As an I&S Voices volunteer, you will share your story and give us your feedback on what we produce so we can keep improving the information and support we have on our website and in print. What will you be doing? Your role might include some of the following: Reading and sharing your thoughts on a piece of written content. Watching and giving your opinion on a video. Having a phone call to talk about your experience. Being part of a group discussion about a particular topic. What’s in it for you? Flexible volunteering – there’s no specific time commitment, and you can always turn down a request. Opportunity to make real changes to Marie Curie’s Information & Support for others affected by terminal illness. Opportunity to be involved with a national leader in palliative and end of life care. A supportive contact within the Information and Support team. Want to know more before applying?
