Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated part time Bar Team Member to join the vibrant team at Nyla's, in our new venue opening in Chapel Allerton. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
We have 15-35 hours per week available inclusive of weekends.
As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will play a central role in creating a welcoming, energetic atmosphere for guests while delivering an excellent standard of service at all times.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately
* Maintain a clean, well-organised, and well-stocked bar area at all times
* Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring all guests feel welcome and valued
* Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, handling orders and enquiries promptly
* Assist with stock control and restocking during and between shifts
* Follow all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen to support smooth service, especially during busy periods
* Handle cash and card payments accurately, using till systems confidently
Experience & Requirements
* Previous experience in a bar, pub, or restaurant is preferred but not essential – full training is provided
* A positive attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for providing excellent service
* Strong time management skills and the ability to stay calm and efficient during peak hours
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes in a fast-paced environment
* Comfortable working as part of a team and communicating effectively with colleagues
* Availability to work consistently throughout the summer and holidays, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
* Understanding of food safety or licensing laws is an advantage
