The Vacancy
As Contracts Manager in Planned Maintenance, you will lead contract management for works related to our property portfolio, including external decorations contracts and other portfolios. You will be responsible for reporting on Decent Homes and Leasehold work.
A Senior Surveyor will directly report to you, supporting surveying requirements for the contracts. There will also be indirect reports linked to you as needed.
Your responsibilities include ensuring the team meets performance standards, including audit, time management, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Maintaining high service quality is crucial. You will need a solid, robust approach to contract management to achieve the right outcomes.
You will oversee complaints, working to ensure appropriate resolutions.
The role requires thorough analysis and industry knowledge, demonstrating your technical and commercial expertise, including knowledge of contract law, health & safety legislation, housing law, and compliance.
About you
You should have experience working within or overseeing delivery of housing-related contracts.
You have managed externally delivered service contracts, ensuring works are completed according to contractual terms and within budgets exceeding £6m.
You hold relevant technical qualifications, training, or equivalent experience.
You are confident in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, understanding and anticipating customer needs.
This is a hybrid role; you can work from home but should be based within our operating region for site visits and meetings.
Travel is required; you must have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work.
Our operating region includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, and London.
