Summary
We are looking for a committed chemist to work on Saturday to join our health care team. This is a wonderful chance to give critical patient care in a fast paced pharmacy setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for distributing prescriptions, providing expert guidance and ensuring safe and effective use of medicines. Duties:
* Advise patients on how to take their medications, potential side effects and drug interactions.
* Review patient medication history and ensure proper medication management.
* Work with health care experts to improve workflow.
* Keep thorough records of medicines delivered and patient contacts.
* Adhere to all pharmaceutical standards and safety procedures.
* Help with inventory management, including stock inspections and ordering supplies when required.
* Involve yourself in health promotion activities and medication reviews to support patient care initiatives.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or comparable regulatory organization.
* Demonstrated experience in community pharmacy.
* Good knowledge of PGDs, OTC experience.
* Good communication skills with capacity to give clear information to patients and health care colleagues.
* Showed dedication to patient care and safety requirements.
* Ability to work independently on Saturdays, with good organisation and attention to detail.
* Previous experience in a community pharmacy context is desirable but not essential.
