Temporary Accommodation Manager / Housing Manager
£26-27ph (PAYE), umbrella available

Duties
1. Lead, develop, and deliver the management of hostels and the operational delivery of temporary accommodation, including properties secured under spot-purchase, leased, or other procurement methods, for statutorily homeless and other clients, in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
2. Manage the Temporary Accommodation Team, ensuring properties meet health & safety standards, repair obligations are fulfilled, voids and rent losses are minimized, and relationships with homeless households, housing providers, landlords, and agents are maintained.
3. Support the Accommodation Services Lead in developing the temporary accommodation service. The role reports to the Accommodation Services Lead and is responsible for a team of Temporary Accommodation Officers. It also involves managing the emergency out-of-hours rota and providing cover if needed. Enhancements will be paid as per policy.
4. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, providing support and guidance on all casework, monitoring performance, and managing casework allocation and standards.
