Role Details Role / Job Title: Test Manager Work Location: Warwick Office Days (if Hybrid): 3 day in week Role Overview Responsible for defining and managing the testing strategy in Maximo, testing framework, tools, and automation practices. This role involves technical knowledge, leadership ability, strong communication, managing risks by identifying potential issues early, and ensuring resources are used effectively. Primary Responsibilities Establish the overall approach of testing including methodologies and tools to be used Able to manage real-time dashboards that show test coverage, execution results, and quality trends Lead and mentor a team of manual and automation testers, driving task management, timely delivery, and a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement Overseeing diverse testing activities including functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT Managing defect resolution and delivering clear status reports with risk communication Assisting and mentoring members of the team with various testing challenges Identify potential risks in the testing process and propose mitigation strategies Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test cases, scripts, and reports Define, monitor, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) such as test coverage, defect leakage, test execution efficiency, automation coverage, and quality metrics Providing regular updates on testing progress and results to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goal Your Profile Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, performance, UAT) Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) Good to have Maximo tool experience Defining the overall test strategy and creating detailed test plans Leading and mentoring the QA team to ensure high performance Implementing testing processes and ensuring adherence to quality standards Collaborating with developers, product owners, and stakeholders for smooth releases Managing quality risks and prioritizing defect resolution Tracking metrics and reporting insights for continuous improvemen
