Position Profile: The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists to optimise patient care by undertaking duties as a pharmacy technician, including on weekends and public holidays. This includes inventory management, prescription dispensing/ medication distribution and record- keeping, all under the supervision of a registered pharmacist as well as provides clinical support to the pharmacist ( assisting in medication history gathering under supervision).

Kalamunda District Community Hospital (KDCH) is a specialist hospital and is part of the Armadale Kalamunda Group. The hospital provides both day surgical procedures and a specialist inpatient palliative care service for patients in the east metropolitan area.
Orchard Avenue Centre is the health service’s mental health clinic, located offsite. Successful applicants may be rostered to work across any of these three locations.
