Job Title: Production Operative – Finishing Team
Location: Glossop Cartons – Glossop (Near Manchester, Derbyshire)
We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join our Finishing Team at Glossop Cartons, based in Glossop (near Manchester, Derbyshire). This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent. You’ll be working in a physically demanding environment on the factory shop floor, playing a vital role in the production process.

Key Responsibilities:
* Feed large machinery with cardboard materials
* Wrap and pack pallets of finished cartons
* Use hand pump trucks (training will be provided)
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Follow all health & safety and company procedures

Requirements:
* Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
* Comfortable working in a factory setting
* Willingness to operate large machinery after training
* Must wear steel toe cap shoes and clothing with no buttons
* Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
* Flexible to work rotating shifts

What We Offer:
* Pay rate: £13.72 per hour
* Shift patterns:
o 6:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Early shift)
o 1:30 PM – 9:00 PM (Late shift)
* Weekly rotating shifts
* Initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of permanent employment
* Full training provided
