Overview
Schrödinger seeks a Postdoctoral Scientist to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods. As a member of the Therapeutics Group, you’ll play a key role in drug discovery research in the area of antimalarial drug resistance, in collaboration with an academic lab. This will be a one-year position.
What You’ll Do
* Perform protein purification
* Execute wet-lab biophysical ligand-binding experiments, such as SPR and ITC
* Make computational modeling calculations, such as molecular dynamics and free energy perturbation simulations
What You Should Have
* PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, or a related field
* Proficiency in measuring the affinity of protein/ligand interactions
* A computational modeler who’s familiar with the Schrödinger platform
* A proficient Python programmer
