Internal Sales Executive

Are you a confident communicator with strong customer service & sales support experience? Do you enjoy building lasting client relationships and working within a fast-paced environment?

We’re working with a well-established business in the Hassocks area who are looking for anInternal Sales/Account Manager to join their team. This role offers fantastic opportunity to develop within a supportive & dynamic environment, working closely with customers across a range of industries.

The Role
You’ll work closely with the wider sales team to provide first-class service to customers – managing incoming enquiries, preparing quotes, and identifying opportunities to develop accounts further.
1. Managing the sales & enquiries inbox, ensuring all quotes and requests are responded to
2. Acting as main point of contact for your allocated customers, providing support & advice
3. Preparing & following up on quotes, ensuring accurate pricing & converting into sales
4. Making outbound sales calls to develop new business and strengthen existing relationships
5. Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth processing of orders & resolution of customer queries
6. Addressing any pricing, delivery, or service issues and ensuring a positive outcome for the customer
7. Attending sales meetings, training sessions, ad occasional customer or trade events

About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
8. Experienced in sales, account management, or customer service within a B2B environment (construction, distribution, or manufacturing experience would be ideal)
9. Highly organised and able to manage multiple enquiries
10. Confident using Excel & CRM systems
11. A strong communicator who enjoys speaking with customers and building rapport
12. Target-driven and proactive, with the ability to identify new opportunities
13. Able to work well in a team environment while taking ownership of your own workload
14. Full UK driving licence required for occasional travel to events or client sites

What’s on offer
15. Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm
16. £26,500 - £28,000pa DOE
