Digital product owner - director

Leicester
Director
Posted: 20 February
Offer description

Cooper Parry is on a mission to disrupt the professional services sector with bold thinking, brilliant experiences, and technology that actually works for people. Our central platform ecosystem—anchored around Salesforce—is critical to delivering that experience across our business. We’re looking for a Digital Product Owner – Director to take full accountability for the commercial performance, value creation, and strategic evolution of our core platform ecosystem. This isn’t simply about managing change. It’s about owning a portfolio of products as business assets — ensuring they drive revenue growth, margin improvement, operational efficiency, and differentiated client and employee experience. You will sit at the intersection of technology, operations, and commercial performance — ensuring every pound invested in the platform delivers measurable return. Your key responsibilities: Product Vision, Strategy & Commercial Ownership Own and define the product vision and multi-year roadmap for Salesforce and the broader eco-system integrations. Establish and track clear value metrics (revenue enablement, productivity gains, margin improvement, risk reduction, client experience uplift). Build and maintain business cases for platform investment and optimisation. Prioritise initiatives based on measurable commercial impact and strategic alignment. Ensure platform evolution directly supports Cooper Parry’s growth ambitions. Value Realisation & Performance Management Define and monitor KPIs that demonstrate ROI and business performance improvement. Identify automation, integration, and optimisation opportunities that unlock efficiency and scalability. Continuously assess platform effectiveness, adoption, and economic impact. Report regularly to senior leadership on value delivered versus investment. Requirements & Prioritisation Translate business and commercial objectives into clear, prioritised product backlogs. Facilitate requirements gathering through structured engagement across service lines and operations. Balance competing priorities through a transparent, value-led decision framework. Maintain detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation. Platform Development & Delivery Work closely with internal technical teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery of enhancements, integrations, and new capabilities. Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release governance. Ensure changes are robustly tested, secure, and aligned to firm-wide governance standards. User Experience, Adoption & Change Champion a user-first mindset while balancing commercial outcomes. Drive adoption strategies that ensure value is realised — not just features delivered. Monitor behavioural data, usage analytics, and performance metrics to optimise impact. Stakeholder Engagement & Governance Act as the accountable product lead for Salesforce and central platforms across Cooper Parry. Influence senior stakeholders to align investment with strategic priorities. Communicate roadmap, trade-offs, and outcomes with clarity and confidence. Operate with strong governance discipline while enabling pace and innovation. We’re looking for someone with deep digital product ownership experience who treats platforms as commercial products, not internal systems. You’ll combine agile delivery expertise with strong commercial instinct, operational insight, and the confidence to influence at senior levels. Specifically, you will bring: Proven experience as a Product Owner, Digital Product Manager, or equivalent role with clear accountability for value delivery. Demonstrable experience driving measurable business outcomes from enterprise platforms. Strong working knowledge of Salesforce (Sales & Service ideally). Solid understanding of process design, workflow optimisation, and cross-functional service delivery. Experience operating in agile or iterative delivery environments. Strong commercial acumen — comfortable building cases, prioritising by ROI, and managing investment decisions. Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical detail into business performance outcomes. Analytical, data-driven thinking with a focus on continuous improvement. Preferably, you will bring: Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform App Builder, or Consultant). Experience delivering integrations across complex operational ecosystems. Background in professional services or advisory environments. Experience leading change in high-growth or scaling organisations. We’ve been dubbed ‘the rebels of accountancy’. We’re straight-talking.
