The Role:
* Teach Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that explore the Christian faith, other world religions, and philosophical and ethical issues.
* Contribute to the development of a dynamic and enriching Religious Studies curriculum that promotes critical thinking, reflection, and spiritual growth.
* Play an active role in the school's Christian ethos, supporting students in their spiritual development and encouraging them to live out their faith in their daily lives.
* Contribute to the school's pastoral care system, providing guidance and support to students, and working collaboratively with parents and colleagues to ensure the well-being of all students.
Candidate Profile:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a good understanding of Christian theology, scripture, and tradition.
* Be passionate about Religious Studies education and have a genuine commitment to fostering students' spiritual and moral development.
* Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
* Be a collaborative and supportive colleague who is committed to the school's Christian ethos and values.
