Job Overview

Linstone Housing is seeking a highly skilled, enthusiastic, and dynamic finance professional to lead our Finance Department. This pivotal role ensures that our finance service is efficient, well‑managed, and fully compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, the Finance Manager will play a key role in delivering our financial strategy, supporting corporate objectives, and ensuring the long‑term financial sustainability of the organisation. The role includes:

• Overseeing Linstone’s budgets, expenditure, and financial reporting, including preparation of quarterly management accounts and the annual budget.
• Leading and supporting the Finance Team, ensuring effective day‑to‑day operation of the finance function while contributing to operational and strategic financial activities.

Qualifications

Organised and motivated finance professional with strong experience in financial management and reporting. Must demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines effectively. Must have strong IT and financial systems skills, a proactive approach and the ability to lead and manage a team successfully.

Key Information

• Salary: £51,075 – £55,259 (EVH Grade 8)
• Hours: 35 hours per week – Permanent full time
• Location: Linwood, Renfrewshire
• Hybrid Working: 3 days in office (Mon–Wed) and 2 days working from home (Thu–Fri)
• Leave: 25 days annual leave plus 15 days public holiday
