At Aspris, we believe that all young people deserve the best chance to grow, develop and receive support that prepares them for a bright future. Our Residential Support Workers are crucial in helping us to achieve our vision.
What the role looks like
As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide emotional support to our young people and assist with day-to-day activities such as washing, dressing, and getting to school. If you work a shift during the weekend, you will mainly be off-site, engaging in activities like theme parks, bowling, cinemas, and zoos. You’ll have so much fun that you’ll almost forget you’re at work.
Our homes accommodate young people with autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. While challenges may arise, our Residential Support Workers build strong relationships and create lasting memories, which are highly rewarding. Seeing a young person overcome difficulties and make progress is incredibly fulfilling.
Our home is a detached property located in a rural area on the outskirts of a Leicestershire village, with access to Burton and Midland’s Road network. It provides a nurturing, supportive, structured, and stable environment, 24 hours a day, for up to three young people aged up to 18 with emotional, developmental, and/or behavioral difficulties.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle due to the location of this role.
