A Product Engineer at GE Vernova is responsible for supporting the technical and system engineering that in turn results in better design, validation, and lifecycle management of products within the company’s energy and power systems portfolio.
Ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams—such as R&D, third party (suppliers and contributors), manufacturing, quality, and product management—to ensure products meet performance, cost, and reliability targets.
Technical Leadership & Systems Engineering
Perform system-level analysis to ensure product performance meets or exceeds grid protection requirements.
Act as a technical point of contact for major customers and strategic projects.
Partner with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, software, validation, application engineering).
Support product demonstrations, technical training, and trade shows as required.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Ideally in protection relay engineering, system integration, or product ownership in the power systems protection and control field.
Experience in Agile product development and backlog management.
