Service Manager – Learning Disabilities
Atrium Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Service Manager to lead and develop a high-quality service for individuals with learning disabilities. This role combines hands-on leadership with a commitment to empowering people to live independent and fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a small-to-medium team and provide effective supervision and coaching
* Ensure the service promotes independence, safety, and meaningful community engagement
* Oversee operational responsibilities including rota planning, budgets, and practice standards
* Maintain compliance with sector regulations and best practices
* Observe staff practices across shifts to ensure consistency and quality
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
* At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
* NVQ Level 3 or QCE Level 5 (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Understanding of safeguarding, DoLS, and positive risk-taking
* Confidence managing budgets and supporting financial viability
