️ Senior Structural Engineer\n Location: Leeds | Salary: £45,000–£60,000 (DOE) + Benefits | Type: Full-Time, Permanent\n\n We’re working with a growing civil and structural consultancy based in Leeds, who are on the lookout for a talented Senior Structural Engineer. You’ll be responsible for delivering structural design solutions across a broad range of building types and construction methods. You’ll also support junior engineers, liaise with clients and external consultants, and work closely with the firm’s Technical Directors.\n\n Your key responsibilities will include:\n\nDesigning structural schemes including superstructures, foundations, and associated infrastructure\nProducing concept and detailed designs using software such as TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, Masterseries, AutoCAD, and Revit\nLeading or contributing to design meetings with clients, architects, and other professionals\nCarrying out site visits and structural inspections\nWriting clear, concise technical reports and scope documents\nSupporting project commercial viability by identifying variations and potential fee adjustments\nCollaborating across internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery\nSupporting the development of more junior engineers and technicians\nStaying actively engaged in CPD and working towards (or maintaining) Chartered status\n🎯 What We’re Looking For\n\nDegree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng preferred)\nChartered or nearing Chartership (IStructE or ICE)\nSignificant experience in the design of building structures\nProficient with industry-standard design tools (e.g. Tekla, TEDDS, Revit, Masterseries)\nConfident communicator and collaborative team player\nAble to think creatively and problem-solve effectively\nComfortable managing multiple projects and priorities\nInterest in sustainability, low-carbon design, or emerging structural technologies is a bonus\n💼 What’s On Offer?\n\n You’ll be joining a close-knit and growing consultancy with genuine opportunity for progression.
