About the role
Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care and contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. You will assist residents with personal hygiene to promote independence, dignity, and respect, recognise clinical risk areas, act courteously towards residents and visitors, and practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents in all personal hygiene care, ensuring independence, dignity and respect at all times.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas in residents (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) and escalate identified risks promptly.
* Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

* Adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
