The role – what we would like you to do
We seek a chartered building surveyor / senior building surveyor to join our Liverpool office. You will be part of a team handling all aspects of professional and project-related building surveying across private and public sectors.
Your responsibilities include supporting project leaders, managing client and project teams, delivering building surveying services such as design, contract administration, surveys, and dilapidations, and maintaining professional relationships with clients.
Our team has diverse experience and offers opportunities for career development and learning.
Core duties:
* Deliver projects from inception to completion
* Maintain effective communication and financial control
* Assist in managing client/project teams
* Visit sites for surveys, meetings, and project delivery
* Ensure work is accurate and timely
* Represent the company professionally and build client relationships
Skills and attributes we seek
* BSc in building surveying or equivalent
* Membership of RICS (beneficial)
* Strong technical writing and communication skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and NBS (beneficial)
* Experience in education, local government, healthcare sectors (beneficial)
* Good relations with private and public sector clients (beneficial)
* Experience in surveys, project management, repairs, and maintenance (beneficial)
* Organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, and commercially aware
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, flexible
* Good IT skills (AutoCAD, NBS, MS Office, bespoke software)
