The Role
We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join one of our supported living services. This role is truly special, as you will be providing person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and Autism, allowing each to choose how they want to live their lives and enabling them to reach their full potential.
Main Responsibilities
* Deliver person-centred support that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
* Follow individual support plans and communication needs, including picking up on non-verbal cues.
* Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
* Maintain open, honest communication with the people we support, their families, and your teammates.
Requirements
* Licence: A full UK driving licence is essential.
* Flexibility: Various shift patterns, including alternate weekends and a requirement for sleep-ins.
* Qualities: A nurturing, supportive, and patient approach with strong communication skills.
* Experience: No experience? No problem. We provide excellent internal training for those new to social care. Already experienced? We will value and enhance the skills you bring to the team.
