A Business Development Manager (BDM) drives business growth by identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and implementing strategic plans to achieve sales goals. They are responsible for finding and pursuing new business opportunities, including developing a network of contacts, researching market opportunities, and overseeing growth projects. BDMs also manage client relationships, negotiate contracts, and may train junior sales teams.
