Cardiac Physiologist – Full Time Permanent – Bournemouth – Up to £32,000

Dream Medical are working with a modern private hospital and are looking for a dynamic Cardiac Interventional Physiologist to join their multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities
* The successful candidate will undertake a range of non-invasive and invasive cardiac procedures, including haemodynamic and ECG monitoring during coronary angiography and PCI
* Pressure wire assessment
* Intra-aortic balloon pump management
* Pacemaker implantation and follow up
* Perform and report on exercise testing
* Assist with fitting of ambulatory ECG devices, including 24hr/7 day monitors and 24hr blood pressure monitors
* Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with professional, statutory and organisational guidelines and provide clinical supervision in line with statutory requirements
Candidate requirements
* Currently registered with the RCCP as a Clinical Physiologist
* Holds a BTEC ONC and HNC Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement and/or BSc Clinical Science/Physiology or equivalent for RCCP registration
* Valid Immediate Life Support certificate
* Desirable that candidates have Accreditation with some of the relevant professional bodies, such as SCST, BPEG, HRS, BSE
