Job Title: Digital Marketing Assistant

Location: On Campus at St Neot’s Prep School and Lord Wandsworth College
Contract: Permanent, full time, 52 weeks
Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Role outline and purpose
This is an exciting role for anyone with a passion for digital marketing. The role is primarily based at St Neot’s Prep School, with approximately one day per week spent supporting digital marketing activity at our sister school, Lord Wandsworth College. This collaboration ensures consistency of brand and storytelling across both schools within the Lord Wandsworth family. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Admissions at St Neot’s, you will play a pivotal role in attracting new families through creative storytelling, data‑led digital campaigns, and authentic, high‑quality content that reflects our schools’ distinctive spirit.
Role Responsibilities
Content Creation & Storytelling
* Support the development and implementation of digital marketing plans that reflect the school’s ethos and strategic objectives.
* Capture and share the everyday life of the school through photography, video and short‑form storytelling that convey its joyful and ambitious culture.
* Create and schedule engaging, audience‑appropriate content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube), writing clear, warm and persuasive copy for captions, blogs, newsletters and website updates, alongside producing on‑brand visuals.
Digital Campaigns & Analytics
* Support the planning and delivery of paid digital campaigns (e.g. Meta Ads, Google Ads) to promote admissions events, school initiatives and pupil recruitment.
* Monitor and analyse campaign and social media performance, providing insights and basic optimisation recommendations based on key metrics.
* Identify digital trends and opportunities to enhance brand visibility, and conduct competitor audits to benchmark and strengthen positioning.
* Contribute to website optimisation and search engine optimisation (SEO) improvements, and liaise with external agencies to ensure consistency with brand objectives.
Community Engagement, Events & Admissions Support
* Plan and support the delivery of admissions events such as Open Mornings and taster days, including logistics, promotion, photography and post‑event content.
* Assist with the admissions process from enquiry to enrolment, including data entry in iSAMS and liaising with feeder schools for references.
* Support the maintenance of the Alumni Database and assist the Head of Marketing and Admissions with communications that strengthen parent engagement and retention.
