About The Role
This is a Fixed Term post for 18 months working full-time
Swansea University currently offers 8 full-time & 3 part-time degree programmes in Healthcare Science. Healthcare Science sits within the School of Health and Social Care. Nearly all of the commissioned programmes from Welsh Government sit within this School. Healthcare Science is joined by Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Health and Paramedic Science in the School. This creates a culture of professional training and interdisciplinary education.
The successful candidate will join the Healthcare Science department. The Clinical Learning facilitator in Cardiac Physiology will be responsible for ensuring students are prepared for NHS hospital placements, and that the work they produce whilst on placement, meets national standards. They will undertake administrative duties, such as module management, portfolio marking, timetabling and personal tutoring.

Welsh Language Skills
The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
