OVERVIEW: FUNCTIONAL SKILLS TUTOR

Delivering Maths & English up to L2 to learners in a centre in Bristol, for the right candidate this position will offer real autonomy to plan, deliver and support learners and we really welcome innovation and creativity when considering the best ways to engage learners both in the classroom.
SALARY/BENEFITS: FUNCTIONAL SKILLS TUTOR
* Salary £28K (depending on experience & qualifications)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: FUNCTIONAL SKILLS TUTOR
To lead the planning, delivery and assessment of English and Maths to individuals and groups of learners.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: FUNCTIONAL SKILLS TUTOR
* L2 Numeracy and L2 Literacy qualifications
* Experience of delivering Maths & English in a previous role to apprenticeship learners.
* Classroom delivery experience
* Teaching qualification at L3 or above (desirable)
* Good IT and communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail / time management skills
* Passion for people development
