Join a Leading Facilities Management Team!
Are you a skilled Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer in or around the South London area, looking for an exciting opportunity in the facilities management sector? We are seeking a dedicated professional to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a defined portfolio, ensuring top-quality service delivery and first-line response to emergencies.
1. £35,834 or £41,210 (depending on experience)
2. Additional £3,000 per annum location allowance
3. Full door-to-door pay
4. Up to 4% bonus
5. All overtime paid at time-and-a-half
6. Company Van (with option for personal use from day 1)
7. 25 days annual leave + bank holiday equivalent
8. Ongoing training & development opportunities at our National Training Centre
What You'll Be Doing
9. Performing planned and reactive maintenance on M&E systems
10. Diagnosing and resolving faults in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment
11. Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
12. Providing technical support and expertise across multiple sites
13. Liaising with customers to deliver outstanding service
14. Supporting and mentoring apprentices and junior engineers
What We're Looking For
15. Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in M&E services/maintenance
16. Essential Qualifications: 18th Edition
17. Desirable Qualifications: F-Gas, Test & Inspection, Unvented
18. Previous experience in a similar role (retail or commercial experience preferred)
19. Valid UK driving licence (essential)
20. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
21. IT proficiency and ability to manage workload effectively
Additional Information:
22. This is a field-based role, requiring travel between client sites
23. On-call duty required (1 in 4 weeks)
