IntraHealth is recruiting for a Medical Receptionist / Administrator at our William Brown Centre in Peterlee.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide a high standard of patient service.
2. Have thorough knowledge of practice procedures and work in accordance with written protocols.
3. Assist the practice team with both clinical and non-clinical tasks.
4. Project a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors, in person or via telephone.
5. Assist and direct patients to access appropriate services or healthcare.
6. Resolve queries from patients, clinicians, and staff.
7. Coordinate with external agencies such as other practices, secondary care, and third-party organizations.
8. Ensure high-quality patient service within a safe, efficient environment by supporting clinicians and staff.
9. Undertake clerical, reception, and administrative duties relevant to the medical practice.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have experience in primary care and secretarial work, with training provided. A willingness to develop patient-centered services is essential. You should be enthusiastic, committed, and possess good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of the team.
