This is an amazing opportunity for an Interim FP&A Director / Head of FP&A to join a fast-paced, PE-backed business with a turnover under £100m. The company is gearing up for an exit in the next 12-18 months, offering a rare chance to make a significant impact during this crucial phase of growth.

This is essentially what you will be doing, but we need people who can tick these boxes!
* Bringing a fast-paced, “get stuff done” attitude to the role, taking charge of all core FP&A functions.
* Overseeing PE Reporting and ensuring all requirements are met in line with Private Equity expectations.
* Preparing insightful board packs, guiding key decision-makers with accurate, strategic information.
* Managing banking reports and covenants, ensuring all financial aspects are aligned with PE requirements.
* Taking the lead on budgeting and planning cycles, helping to shape the financial future of the business.
* Providing cashflow forecasting expertise and ensuring the business stays on track financially.
* Using advanced Excel to transform data into clear, actionable insights.
* Experience with Adaptive and Power BI is a bonus, particularly with regard to navigating an exit process.
* Lead commercial finance and business partnering across the business.
* Work directly with the board and PE firm.
Must-Have Skills:
* PE Experience – Understanding the dynamics of Private Equity-backed businesses and reporting requirements.
* Leading the board packs and managing banking covenants.
* Qualified Accountant – ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent.
* Advanced Excel, PowerBI and ideally Adaptive
* Exit Experience – Familiarity with preparing for a business exit would be highly advantageous.
The Role:
You’ll be based in London, with a global scope, covering the UK and EMEA. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be crucial in setting up a high-performing FP&A function, working with some of the business’s most exciting clients.
