Role: Support Worker
Location: Glanmore, Telford, Shropshire (TF1)
Pay rate: £13.20 - £13.90 per hour
Hours: 35 hours a week - overtime available
Shifts: 8:30am - 9:00pm or 8:30am - may vary to meet the needs of the service
Must be flexible to work weekends

Glanmore has recently undergone a full refurbishment and offers a modern but homely environment for 7 people with mental health needs and learning disabilities. Our support combines self-directed learning with enablement, social development and most importantly fun. We provide the right support to assist individuals in developing coping techniques which can make a noticeable difference in their everyday lives.
Responsibilities
* Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
* Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
* Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
* Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
* Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
* Assisting with personal care as required.
* Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
* Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
