Building Surveyor - Assistant to Chartered
Maidstone - Hybrid
I’m supporting a small consultancy that offers something many surveyors look for but rarely find. You join a close team where your work has clear impact, your ideas carry weight, and clients know you by name. It’s a setting where you develop quickly because you’re trusted with real responsibility from day one.
You’ll work across a broad range of commercial and private residential instructions. The variety is deliberate. It gives you balanced experience rather than limiting you to one project type. You’ll also learn directly from a surveyor with many years of practical, client-facing expertise. That level of day-to-day mentorship is difficult to access in larger, corporate environments.
The team itself is small, friendly and collaborative. They have long-standing client relationships and a culture built on trust and straightforward communication. There are regular social plans, including funded summer team days, and a bi-annual bonus scheme that rewards collective contribution. If you prefer an environment where you feel part of the whole rather than a small cog in a large structure, this suits that mindset.
