Are you a creative digital communicator with a passion for wildlife and conservation? The Hawk and Owl Trust is looking for a Digital Engagement and Communications Assistant to help inspire and grow our audiences through engaging online content and promotion of our public events. About the role This varied, hands-on role supports the planning and promotion of our public events programme while leading on social media, website content, and digital communications. You’ll play a key role in strengthening our online presence, engaging members and supporters, and helping more people connect with our conservation work. Key responsibilities Promote and support delivery of the Trust’s public events programme Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms Update and manage website content, including news and wildlife features Produce e-newsletters, wildlife updates, and support member communications Work closely with staff and volunteers to gather stories and content Monitor and respond to digital engagement, particularly during busy seasonal periods About you You’ll have: Experience managing social media and creating engaging digital content Strong written communication skills Confidence using websites, CMS platforms, and digital tools Good organisational skills and a flexible, collaborative approach A genuine enthusiasm for wildlife conservation and the values of the Trust Experience in the conservation, environmental, or charity sector is desirable but not essential.
